The quiet atmosphere allowed for a restful night, but the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired with visible dirt in unexpected places.

Recommend for a weekend break

Clean room, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast, with fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, and French toast making our stay enjoyable and ideal for a quick getaway. easy access to the highway allowed for convenient exploration of the surrounding area.

Kids loved the water slides and pool.

The room was super spacious and had a nice coffee maker and microwave which made our stay feel cozy. We really enjoyed the heated pool and the relaxing hot tub during our downtime. The only hiccup was the faint smell in the room, but it didn’t ruin our fun at all! 😊

The pool area features a well-maintained water slide, which offers a fun experience, although some seams could use smoothing out. The rooms have spacious layouts, especially with two queen beds, providing ample space for family stays.

Reaching the top floor can be tough, especially with pets that need to relieve themselves. Additionally, the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool during a heat wave, and there were noticeable cleanliness issues like dust behind furniture and a rusting bath drain—almost like the room fell behind in maintenance. The breakfast options did not meet expectations, leading us to skip out after one disappointing bite—let's just say the eggs could use some serious work.

We loved our stay with the kids! The king room we booked was spacious and had a lovely lounge area. The highlight for us was the nearby Douglas Lake, perfect for a family day out fishing and boating. We also appreciated the cozy lobby with its festive decorations.

In my wife’s opinion, the indoor pool area could use more supervision to keep it clean and safe for little ones. A bit more care in maintenance would really enhance the overall family-friendly vibe here.

great access to parks and local landmarks

During my stay, I really loved how close the hotel was to Rotary Park and my stroll through the Walk of Stars Murals, which added so much charm to my weekend. the breakfast options were decent too, making it a cozy spot to start the day.

We enjoyed the huge indoor-outdoor waterslide and explored the famous Walk of Stars. The breakfast was awesome with plenty of tasty options to start our day. We also loved the convenient location near fishing and hiking spots. Definitely recommend this place for the fun vibe and great value!

The thick bed linens made for a very comfortable sleep, a welcome relief after a long trip. The breakfast spread offered a fantastic variety, with both hot and cold options that suited all tastes. The room provided a peaceful atmosphere. there was no noise from neighboring rooms, which was a blessing for our dog who is sensitive to sounds.

The hotel exterior looked a bit worn, which was a little concerning at first. However, my room felt clean and tidy, a relief after a long journey. The bed was slightly hard but still comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast stood out. I enjoyed delicious eggs, sausages, and tasty hash browns. They had fresh fruit, yogurt, and a nice selection of bread for toast. The waffle maker added a fun touch. Not everything was perfect, though. Some furniture appeared dated, and the pool needed attention. the water had a yellow tint, giving off an uninviting feel. Still, staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay pleasant despite the pool's state. I'm definitely open to coming back!
